The Strip

Main street is called The Strip. You can drink outside, so Las Vegas is a party city. You see lots of bachelor parties. It is like you walk in a giant disco club with many floors with different music. They have a system of stairs and walkovers, so you go over the Strip, instead of across it. I liked the flashing lights and screens. The hotels compete for your attention. The welcome sign on the beginning of the Strip!

We stayed in Sam's Town, which is a giant hotel/casino/shopping complex. You can gamble in the first floor and hotel is up. There is everything, from ordinary slots, poker, roulette, horse races (live on tv), sport bookings, everything. If there is something that a man made up or something that you want to buy, you will find it in Vegas. Money city that became popular when the Hoover Dam was completed.
